Marin County Family Tragedy- Dotto Ngongoseke
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
As many of you know, Dotto ( John ) Ngongoseke, 59, was tragically killed in a car accident on October 14th, 2023. It is suspected that he may have had a medical event that caused the accident. Dotto is survived by his beloved wife Ina and three sons, Nyanza(15), Lyuba(14), and Sonda(10). Dotto and Ina were together for more than 16 years. They were a team. Dotto was an outstanding father who was always there for his family. He drove far and wide to support their activities, shared his love and skill of soccer, and encouraged new sports, sailing especially. He grocery shopped, was the chef of the family, and enjoyed cooking with his boys.
Dotto was a caretaker both at home and at work. He was a nurse at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital where he was known for putting care and humanity first. He was a kind and patient man who with his soft-spoken voice could make someone feel safe and cared for. He was selfless, gracious, and his smile could make your worries melt away. Dotto simply shone bright and his presence was a special gift that he shared with all of us.
We are raising funds to support Dotto’s family as they recover from this devastating turn in their lives, particularly since Dotto was the primary earner for the family. Our goal is to give Ina and the boys time to heal while supporting their basic needs over the next few months as they find ways to continue without Dotto’s financial and emotional support. Donations will support cremation, burial, a celebration of life service, and living expenses for a few months until Ina can find more full-time work.
In the meantime, there are many ways that you can help Ina and the boys, including:
• Contribute to this Go Fund Me Campaign
• Support the family with healthy meals with Good Earth Natural Foods gift cards. These can be mailed or dropped off at The Herban Garden at 15 Bolinas Road, Fairfax, CA 94930.
Any support that you can provide to help the family navigate through this tragedy is greatly appreciated.
With many thanks.
