Doug & Kathy Torda: Love & Support
Hello, Friends.
Doug is doing okay. He had a CT scan and a PET scan in early May, and the results were mixed. The cancer in his pancreas has neither improved nor worsened. Unfortunately, in other systems/organs, the cancer is getting worse. Due to toxicity, he will have to take a six-week break from chemotherapy—at which point he'll have another set of scans.
Doug and Kathy are so very grateful for the love and support from friends and family. They can't thank you enough for everything you've done.
Your financial support helped Doug and Kathy get through the initial shock and stress of the diagnosis and treatments. Unfortunately, with more treatment comes more expenses. The Tordas recently learned that they will be responsible for Doug's insurance premiums. Until now, they have been able to defer those payments. Long story short, it's a big, unanticipated expense. So, the Tordas find themselves in need once again.
Please consider making a contribution to help cover the Tordas' ongoing expenses. No gift is too small.
If you've already contributed, thank you. Please consider giving another small gift, and please share this page with anyone who might be moved by Doug's story.
As always, please continue to pray for comfort, peace, and healing for Doug, Kathy, and the Torda family.
