We received the tragic news no one wants to get, our lil brother had died unexpectedly at home. Doug Haskell lost his life on Monday June 4th, just a couple weeks before Fathers Day and his upcoming 45th birthday. Leaving behind his two precious young daughters, we are all so heartbroken.
Doug touched so many lives and was loved by so many. He was an amazing father, an awesome brother, a wonderful son, the best Uncle ever, and a true friend.
Doug lived his life everyday for his daughters. They were the center of his very soul and filled his heart with so much love. I cannot imagine life without him in it. His silly laugh, his smile, his sense of humor, and his awesome cooking. Doug loved to cook and come rain, snow, sleet or hail, he found a way to spark up the grill.
We are reaching out to his family and friends for your love and support to help us give him the memorial he so deserves. All funds will go to his funeral/memorial expenses as there was no life insurance. Any remaining funds will go into trust for his two young daughters.
Arrangements are being made for his memorial service within a couple weeks. As soon as a date is confirmed we will anounce here, on his FB page, and through his obituary.
My siblings and I would like to thank each of you for your love, help, and the support you showed Doug while he was with us. A special thank you to those that stood by him and never gave up on him.
