Help Doug Kennedy recover from a tragic fire!

And suddenly...your world is changed. You went to work that morning, and returned to what had been your home, your safe place, your center from which you navigated your world.

Doug Kennedy and his wife had exactly that happen to them 3 weeks ago. A devastating house fire took that and more. When something like this happens, it either changes you, or in Doug's case, it peels back yet another layer to let the world see what he’s already proven – he is one tough and resilient guy.

Responsible person that he is, Doug had insurance but it is taking an excruciating eternity for adjusters, contractors and others to crawl through everything. In the meantime, Doug and his wife are literally left picking up the pieces.

Several of us have assisted Doug over the last 3 weeks with an inventory and estimate.

His instruments need to be replaced or refurbished – the insurance will not adequately cover that. Living expenses will not be covered for the time the house is not livable. Furnishings, medical devices and other items will not be covered at the replacement cost.

Those of us who know Doug know what he has already beaten...he can beat this, but he sure could use our help!
