Doug, Our Handyman Needs Help

Doug Hanna was raised in Houston, Texas. He has lived in the Conroe area for over 32 years. He's a very happy guy, and lights up the room when he walks in! He has been a self-employed handyman throughout his adult life. Doug is a father of two, his daughter is Chasity, and his son Chad. He has 8 grandchildren. Doug owned his own painting company, doing contract painting for many of the apartments in the Conroe area. He has worked with ProMed Realty for over 15 years, helping to serve the community doctors in anyway they need. Doug has been a major player in keeping the tenants of ProMed Realty happy and comfortable! Unfortunately, Doug has been diagnosed with a very serious form of cancer. He has a very large mass in his throat, which causes him to not be able to speak or eat properly. The mass is set to be removed in the coming months. He will also have to undergo very extensive chemotherapy. After surgery, Doug will not be able to provide for himself, like he has always done as he will be down for several months to come. We began this page, because as well as being self-employed, Doug has no Medical Insurance. We want to show him that not only does he not have to worry about the financial burden that is upon him, but that he has a huge support system standing with him through this entire journey. The money that is raised will be used for his medical bills, and a means of support until he is up and running again, like the Doug we know and love.
