Doug Ping

One of Prescott’s favorite musicians needs our support. Our friend Doug Ping has recently been diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma and will begin chemo treatment in the coming weeks.

Those who know Doug aren’t surprised that even with a diagnosis of stage 4 Cancer, his attitude continues to be upbeat. As Doug always says, “you know what a tough Kentucky Country Boy I am!” Just as his positive spirit has helped him overcome other challenges in life, Doug's current cancer challenge will be taken head on with that good old country boy attitude and determination.

Our friend and very talented guitar player has entertained many of us in the Prescott area for many years. Unfortunately, he has to take a leave of absence from his full-time job at Allan’s Flowers as he begins his cancer treatment plan. He is hoping to continue to play some music during his treatment plan, which is what he loves to do!

Doug has given Prescott so much through his music. He also served our Country well in the U.S. Army. Doug has always been there for others as many of us already know.

As Friends of Doug, we want to help him with his upcoming medical bills and living expenses as he fights this Cancer battle. We would be grateful for any help you can provide and share for helping Doug Ping.
