Update 8/2/23 Judy found shelter for Doug, and many of her neighbors have donated food as the shelter only provides 1 Meal a day. Judy has also been paying for Doug’s Lyfts do he Dan get to his doctor’s appointments. Our goal is for Doug to get to his appointments, receive the care he needs to get well enough to work. We are hoping for a little more generosity to help with his transportation expenses. Thank you all and God Bless You ❤️

Update 7/13/23

Doug has been discharged but is still not feeling well. We found him a hotel for the week, and purchased some necessities for him. We are hoping social services kick in before this week is up, but in the meantime, the original donations have been depleted, and Doug will still need some help with meals and other necessities this week. Hello. I've started this page to help Doug Sauer with his living expenses. He has fallen on hard times. After a very serious car accident, Doug was admitted to the hospital many times, and most recently, was in the ICU for several weeks. While hospitalized, his landlord evicted him and confiscated his furnishings and belongings. We are currently working on finding him a place to stay. If you are able, please contribute to help Doug with his expenses until he is well enough to work. Thank you.
