Douglas Segovia

Dear Family and Friends of the Segovia Family,

On Feb 6th Douglas had a scan of his spine and an analysis of blood and bone marrow. He has been advised to receive urgent surgery to remove a tumor at the base of his brain. He along with Carolina and their two children, Luna and Noah will be flying to Miami to be with Douglas as he undergoes brain surgery, this coming Monday, Feb 20.

He will need to remain in Miami after surgery for a couple of weeks to determine the prognosis and aftercare.

Friends of the family have set up this GoFundMe page to help ease some of their burdens. We hope that we can raise enough funds to pay for the 20% copay of the surgery, including airfare, costs in Miami, rehabilitation and ongoing care back in Denver. Those costs also include help caring for Luna and Noah for up to three months.

We ask for powerful prayers that the tumor be eradicated and Douglas would be healed.
