On Sunday, May23rd, Douglas Smith, a beloved brother, son, uncle, grandson, cousin, and friend went to be with our Lord and Savior after losing his life in a tragic accident.
A family could never be prepared for something like this. We are so grateful for all of the prayers from all of our family and friends during this time that we are trying to cope with our loss. We were so unprepared for anything like this to happen.
Douglas was such a light in our lives, and he was truly a family man. His family, friends, and faith were the most important things in his young life. He was actively involved in Tri-County Fire Department as a Volunteer Firefighter. Any spare time that he had was spent giving back to the community he loved.
Right now we are trying to make arrangements and settle Douglas’ affairs. If there are any family or friends who are willing to lend a hand, a heart, or help us with funeral costs, we would be eternally indebted to you.
