Dovonta Norman’s Funeral Expenses

UPDATE***Dovonta started his journey on Monday July 24th surrounded by family. Let’s not forget to LOVE one another and support each other for Dovonta. He would want that in the end of it all. Dovonta Norman’s Expenses

I’m posting this for my sister who tried to make this for our Brother.

To whomever takes the time to read,

I, first off wanna thank you for taking the time out of your day to acknowledge this. This is one of my older brothers, Dovonta Norman. He was recently a victim in an incident that has left him comatose in the icu, undergoing the necessary treatment needed. My brother was shot July 3rd just simply being at the wrong place at the wrong time. He had lost so much blood at the scene from his wounds, it sent his body into shock, which resulted in his organs failing. The doctors have performed all necessary life saving measures, as he is at one of the best trauma hospitals in Hennepin county. He is still in a comatose state and it has gotten to the point that our family has decided to put a DNR in place. He has gotten to the point where he should most definitely have peace instead of being put through anything more. On Monday July 24th, they will be removing his breathing tube and taking him off of sedation. Dovonta is a loving, caring, incredible father to my nephew and considers it one of his greatest accomplishments. He is someone’s Son, Father, Husband, Brother, Uncle and everything in between. Unfortunately, we are now faced with a future funeral. During these trying times I ask to anyone who can show my family empathy, comfort, support, and especially prayers. Even if you cannot donate we ask you share and PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE keep my family in your prayers. This is the second close to home family member that has been greedily snatched from our lives within a year due to gun violence. We are most certainly grateful to you. And again I appreciate you for taking the time out of your day to read this.
