On November 19th, 2023 my close friend Kait of Downers Grove / Westmont was brutally attacked by the father of her 3 children.
She is currently hospitalized and thankful to simply be alive.
If it wasn’t for the heroics of a neighbor who called the police and the officers themselves my friend wouldn’t be here today. My family & I will always be grateful for your heroic actions that kept our angel here on earth!
That being said my friend Kait was already working hard to provide for her 3 children. She has always been there for her community in Westmont & Downers Grove and though any help from anywhere is appreciated we are hoping to see support from within. We are stronger together and always will be.
Kait has always been an advocate for those without a voice. Anyone who knows Kait knows she will never quit and I can only imagine the work she plans on doing in the future. That work doesn’t need to be rushed and hopefully with your contribution she can return to work when she is mentally and physically ready and not out of financial necessity.
We know times are tough out there so every dollar helps. Please be safe out there and have a happy thanksgiving week everyone..
