Rachel Rolfs, who is diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer, is undertaking an ultimate healing adventure. She plans to live, learn, share her knowledge of anatomy, herself, resilience, and life. She welcomes your positive thoughts, healing vibes, and good wishes.
This interesting healing crisis/opportunity also provides each of us who know and love her, an opportunity to breathe in love, and breathe out fear. We can learn, live and grow, allowing positive thoughts and words of healing to be gifts to ourselves, as well as each other. What a beautiful gift to be on this journey with such a beautiful warrior goddess.
We -- Rachel, her mom, Lavetta, and Verne -- also welcome your financial help. We are currently staying in Prescott, AZ, away from our Topeka home, so that Rachel can receive treatment at Partners in Healthcare Naturally, which provides a combination of traditional and holistic health care. Rachel is currently getting chemotherapy, Insulin Potentiated Therapy, vitamin C therapy, acupuncture, lymphatic massage, and nutritional support.
Unfortunately, this approach to treatment is not covered by health insurance, so we have to pay for it all out-of-pocket. Living temporarily in Prescott is also costly, and all three of us have had to take temporary leave from our jobs, which means we don't have income coming in.
