Single Dad with Cancer

Hi, my name is Brooklyn Santana and I'm raising money for my dear friend, Santiago Bay. On July 3, 2023, Santi was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a bone marrow cancer. He is still undergoing some testing to determine the prognosis and severity, however, he has also started some medication and hopes to start full-blown treatment soon. He recently had a PET scan done, which showed some troublesome spot in his neck that needs some further testing as well.

For those of you that don't know Santi well, here's a little about him. Santi recently turned 35, has worked construction for over 10 years, hates to ask others for help, and is a single father of 2 boys, Brycen (12) and Benny (7). They all reside in Watseka, Illinois, and are very involved in extracurriculars. Santi does whatever he can to make his boys happy and genuinely loves them more than anything. Santi is also the kind of person that would give the shirt off of his back if needed. He has personally helped me out numerous times.

Due to Santi's diagnosis, he is now unable to work, per the doctor's order. As you can imagine, his bills are starting to pile up and he has no way to pay them. As a single father, this causes additional unnecessary stress on him. If you feel so inclined, we would greatly appreciate any donation to help pay for gas to and from appointments in Champaign and Chicago, as well as household bills for Santi and the boys.
