Victor

Hi, my name is Donna Schautz, and I am writing on behalf of the Vilela family. As you may or may not know, Victor was diagnosed with a brain tumor 16 years ago. He was in a car accident which prompted him to be taken to the hospital, where the tumor was discovered through scans. He was officially diagnosed with Glioblastoma Astrocytoma Multiforme-an extremely aggressive form of cancer.

Victor has gone through 2 invasive surgeries, the first one in 2006 and the second in 2012. He has gone through chemotherapy, radiation, and physical therapy as well. Recently at his doctor's visit, he was sent to the emergency room for further testing. His tumor grew in the last few months, causing pressure on the area that controls his breathing, which signals to his lungs that he can no longer take deep breaths. He was told he only has a few months of life left. At this point- all avenues have been exhausted.

We are asking for any help with his end-of-life care.

Victor was ineligible for life insurance when he discovered his diagnosis.

Donations will be used for hospice, some bucket list outings, burial expenses, and his son's future.
