Braveheart Chaplain Ministry

Braveheart Chaplain Ministry, a non-profit corporation, serves several area emergency service agencies of the Flathead Valley in northwest Montana.  Whether it's the fire or police department, the sheriff's office or highway patrol, emergency aviation crews or 911 dispatchers, Chaplain Drew Buckner is a valuable resource for these agencies, the personnel, and their families.  However, Buckner also assists, guides, counsels, and comforts victims of crimes and family members who have experienced tragedy.

One officer states, "Braveheart Chaplain Ministry has been on the front lines with me as a Deputy Sheriff and together we've dealt with some of the most challenging aspects of this job. The kindness and wisdom of Chaplain Buckner is something that can only be truly experienced by working in his presence.”

We, as the Board of Directors, have organized a fundraising campaign that is effective immediately and will run through December.  The fall and holiday season are traditionally a very busy time of year for emergency services.  The call volume and intensity of each call tend to heighten during this time of year.  Therefore, Chaplain Buckner will be interacting and responding to more calls and counseling and guiding even more people.  Not only will Braveheart Chaplain Ministry be bolstered by the donations but so will every officer, family member, or citizen that Chaplain Buckner serves.
