Hi friends.

I’m sure by now many of you have seen our daily updates on missing sweet, sweet Jerry. We are beyond grateful for the outpouring of love and support Team Jerry has had as we work to bring him home to his mom Rebecca. Many of you have asked through social media or direct contact how you can help to bring him home. Today we humbly ask for your support to allow us to continue moving ahead in our search.

On July 31. 2024 Jerry arrived on the Eastern Shore (East Chezzetcook) of NS with his mom Rebecca and his dog brother, Laszlo. Jerry is not familiar with the area that he is in and after only a short time running and playing with Laszlo, he suddenly disappeared. Jerry is a 6 year old black and white neutered male bernedoodle, he has tan eyebrows and a narrow white blaze and weighs 80lbs. He is a pretty special fellow!

Immediately family and friends joined Rebecca to search for Jerry. Multiple experts and organizations in finding lost pets have been diligently working with her daily to help find him. Dozens of posters have been placed throughout all surrounding communities, trail cameras are up, drones have been used, 360 scenting, clothing, animal communicators have contributed and miles and miles on foot walked asking neighbours for their support to check and recheck their properties. Jerry’s story has been shared 100’s of times by you and for that we thank you. We have finally been able to secure an experienced drone operator with a thermal drone to assist us in the next step.

Jerry is now scared and in Fright/Flight Mode. That means he is staying invisible by travelling at night and sleeping in hidden places during the day. We believe the thermal drone will be the next step in locating him.

The increasing daily costs for Rebecca for Jerry’s search is putting a financial strain on her that no pet owner should ever have to endure. Jerry is Rebecca’s soul dog and he has supported her through some of life’s toughest moments.

In addition to travelling back and forth from NB to NS to aid in the search as well as all of the expenses already incurred, there will be upcoming expenses such as the costs of the drone operator. As well, when Jerry is found he will require an extensive vet exam and possibly veterinary fees.

We appreciate every donation. We have learned “it takes a Village” … and the communities surrounding Jerry have been amazing. If you are not able to donate we ask that you please continue to Share his posts, pray and continue to send Team Jerry your positive vibes and encouragement.

Any additional monies raised beyond Jerry’s expenses will be donated to the organizations that help to bring lost pets home to their families.
