In Memory of Shannon: Support for Alyson and the Boys

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Shannon Andrew Treadway’s passing on June 14, 2024. Shannon was a devoted husband to Alyson and a loving father to their two sons, Spencer (16) and Tristan (14). His unexpected departure has left a profound void in the lives of those who knew and loved him. Due to the overwhelming amount of people reaching out asking how they can help, we decided to set up this page.

Shannon was a kind and brilliant man, always eager to help others with his wisdom and generosity. His legacy continues through his sons, Spencer and Tristan, who embody his spirit and drive. Spencer is a dedicated student who volunteers his time to help animals and enjoys and looks forward to his piano and music theory lessons. Tristan is an enthusiastic sports lover who excels in baseball and is looking forward to pursuing it this summer and in high school next year. Shannon’s pride in their accomplishments was immeasurable.

Alyson now faces the challenging task of supporting their dreams and aspirations on her own. As she navigates this difficult time, we invite those who feel moved to offer their support. This can come in many forms—words of encouragement, sharing memories of Shannon, and offering assistance in ways that feel right to you.

Your kindness and generosity will help provide Alyson with the stability needed to focus on her sons and their future. Spencer and Tristan’s continued growth and well-being are a testament to Shannon’s love and dedication.

A memorial service to celebrate Shannon's life will be held on Tuesday, June 25th, at 1 PM at The Jewish Congregation of Venice, 600 North Auburn Rd., Venice. We invite those who wish to honor his memory to join us.
