Blake's Amazing Heart

We, Ben and Ashley Taylor, are the parents of Blake Ross Taylor who has a heart condition called HLHS; Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome.  Only the right side of his heart works, which is the smaller part of the heart.  With this condition he has to go through 3 surgeries; one at birth which he had done when he was 3 days old, the second one will be at 6 months old and the last will be around 3 years old.  At just over a week old he has already had cardiac arrest and a cardiac decline.  This process of seeing our precious boy going through all this is scary, nerve racking and I would never wish this upon anyone, it is so hard to go through this.  We are very lucky to have family and friends to support us through this terrible time!  Right now only Ben is able to work since Blake is not able to attend a daycare facility until he is a year old, so mommy is home with kids.  Raising this money will help pay for hospital bills we will be receiving and we would also love to help out all the doctors and nurses taking care of our sweet boy at Medical City of Dallas.  This is the best place for him to be, they have the best staff around!!!
