Dear Friends and Family:
Dr. Anthony Marshall, affectionately known as "Pooky" or Tony, suffered an Ischemic stroke on July 10, 2018 in Washington, DC.
Many of you will remember Tony as a loyal and dedicated educator, counselor, who worked tirelessly on behalf of students while at Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa, OK.
He was also the founder/coordinator of numerous extracurricular activities including:
"HBCU TOUR"; Men of Power Mentorship program,; helping students obtain financial assistance to attend college and overseeing the cheerleaders!
Several years ago, Tony returned to his "Beloved Washington, DC", as an educator at Anacostia High School. As one would expect, he has given those students the same leadership, encouragement and exposure to various educational programs, opportunities and world exposure.
In fact, he had recently returned from accompanying a group of Anacostia students to Argentina!
While currently unable to attend his beloved church homes First Baptist Church of Glenarden, MD Worship Center and Metropolitan Baptist Church in Tulsa, his energy still shines brightly, and his love for the Lord is unwavering.
Tony appreciates your Prayers, Cards, Calls and beautiful floral arrangements.
Please join in thanking Dr. Marshall for his outstanding community contributions by contributing to his GoFundMe to help offset the cost of his medical bills and extensive rehabilitation.
Thank you for support.
