Dr. Ellen Carruth has supported hundreds of students, clients, and organizations in counseling for decades. Her tireless commitment to client care, social justice, advocacy, and education is well-known, reaching from Seattle to Tacoma. Ellen has volunteered for multiple causes, including mental health, food scarcity, those experiencing homelessness, the Queer community, and the Seattle Clinic. She has dedicated her life to serving others, changing and supporting individuals, communities and systems.
The inspiration of this page is to assist in supporting Ellen's well-being; by allying with her in her battle with Multiple Sclerosis, and to provide tangible support as she continues to work tirelessly in her support of others. As you may know, MS is a disease this is unpredictable, with periods of acuity and exacerbation of new and current symptoms. MS is progressive and overtime needs and assistance increase.
While Ellen continues to serve others, she would benefit greatly from additional support, from the tangible to the intangible (supportive hugs!). This page is to assist Ellen with financial support. This page gathers funds to support Ellen in ways large (renovation and accommodations for her home, medications, various therapies, medical bills, the ability to take days off without lost wages should she need it, travel funds for medical appointments) and small (self-care such as journals) as she continues to accept and grow in her process and experience with Multiple Sclerosis.
