Dr. Elliott Sprague and family

The Grey Nuns Hospital Community is fundraising for our dear colleague, Dr. Elliott Sprague, and his young family. Elliott is battling metastatic colon cancer and is in the palliative stages of his life's journey. He has a very young family with two young children. He was in the early stages of his career when he was afflicted with this diagnosis and still has significant financial burdens related to long years of University training as well as family responsibilities. Due to a prior resolved illness, he was denied life insurance before this diagnosis. Elliott has been a beloved and hardworking Internal Medicine specialist who has helped many people and is loved by his patients and colleagues. His contributions to medical training of students and residents are outstanding. His exuberance and enthusiasm for life was evident in his daily work and his infectious laughter holds many of us in higher spirits. We thank you for your generosity in raising funds to help support his family at this difficult time.
