Dr. Kimberley Evans: Support the Evans Family

Dear Friends,

On August 23, Dr. Kimberley Evans passed away after a short, but courageous, battle with cancer. Dr. Evans was a Professor in the Division of Nephrology, Department of Medicine, at Duke. She was known for her excellent patient care to patients with chronic kidney disease, her trailblazing efforts in diversity, equity and inclusion in the Department of Medicine and the Duke School of Medicine, and her leadership in implementation of the electronic health record at Duke. She was an inspiration and role model to faculty, fellows, residents, staff and patients.

Moreover, Dr. Evans was a devoted wife to her husband Dr. Edward Evans, and mother of two children. Please consider donating in memory of our friend and colleague, Dr. Kimberley Evans, to help support her family during this difficult time.
