Dr. Matthew Latacha Memorial Fund

Matthew P. Latacha, MD, passed away Sept. 10, 2023, in a tragic accident while riding his bicycle. Dr. Latacha was a gifted and compassionate cardiologist who practiced in the Omaha community for 14 years. He was beloved by his patients and respected by his colleagues. He was an extraordinary cook, avid reader, fitness enthusiast, animal lover, military history buff, and amateur musician. Most of all, he enjoyed traveling and spending time with his wife and kids. The family has established a memorial fund to support a scholarship and other worthy causes in his name.
