In Loving Memory of Dr Mehboob Ali

Our beloved father, Dr Mehboob Ali, returned to his Lord on the morning of Monday 5th December 2022.

He was regarded by his friends and family as a gentle, kind, sweet and loving person with a heart of gold.

Our father had recently retired as a family doctor (GP) having worked almost 50 years of his life in health care looking after patients in a compassionate and dedicated manner.

He was known for his immense generosity helping family, friends, patients, the poor and the needy completely selflessly.

As a father, friend, leader and role-model, his absence will be deeply felt by his family and the community at large.

For a man who helped so many, we want to give back something in the way of helping him during his journey in The Hereafter.

“When a person dies, his deeds come to an end, except for three: ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him.” (Sahih Muslim)

We would be immensely grateful if you could donate whatever you can so he may be rewarded from this source of ‘ongoing charity’ (Sadaqah Jaariyah).

The donations will contribute towards building a water well, water borehole drilling, cataract surgery, medical equipment for hospitals in South Africa and educating underprivileged children in Pakistan.

We pray Allah accepts our duas and efforts towards fundraising in his name.
