Doctor Moath Abu Samra & Family Evacuate Gaza
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Frances and I am fundraising for Dr. Moath Abu Samra, currently in Gaza. Please support his mission to evacuate himself and his family of five from the besieged territory.
From Dr. Abu Samra: My name is Moath Abu Samra. I am 24 years old. I work as a doctor but I lost my job because of the war on Gaza. I escaped death four times due to the Israeli bombing in the Gaza strip. I have beautiful dreams but they have not yet come true. I want to live in peace and security, away from destruction and devastation. I want to get out of Gaza. I don't want to die without achieving my dreams and hopes. All my friends died because of the bombing. I want to leave but the costs of leaving and traveling from Gaza are high, so I am asking for your help. Please contribute whatever you can to help save our lives.
This is his father, 56, who had dreams of studying medicine in Germany. Financial constraints and circumstances of the 1st Intifada prevented this dream from becoming reality. He graduated from the University of Tripoli, Libya and went on to be an upper secondary mathematics teacher.
This is his mother, Basma. She is 49 years old and an education graduate.
These are his two younger brothers, (from left to right) Yousef and Ahmed. Yousef is only one year younger than Moath and he is a physical education graduate, a runner, football (soccer) player, and a boxer.
Yousef is in his second year or secondary school, very smart in school, and a strong player in the defender position of football (soccer).
Dr. Moath also has an older brother Bassem who left for Egypt a mere two weeks before Oct. 7th, 2023. He has been unable to return and fears for his family's safety.
The coordination fees for exiting Gaza are exorbitant ($10,000 per adult, $3,500 per child), so Doctor Moath Abu Samra needs our collective help. The funds raised will go directly towards he and his families expenses. They are five adults total, so about $10,000 per person. The money raised will go directly to his older brother Bassem who will then transfer it to Gaza from Egypt. Doctor Moath is grateful for any support because this will help him reclaim his dreams and overcome the traumatic experiences he has endured. Your continued support and contribution towards his cause are sincerely appreciated. Thank you.
