Dr Ro's Healing Journey

Our much-loved Dr Ro is on a journey of healing from colon cancer which has spread to his liver, where the tumour then doubled in size. This GoFundMe page is created by those who love Dr Ro deeply and want to help raise funds to support Dr Ro receiving the best treatment possible.

The £56,000 target will help fund 8 rounds of an integrative treatment process, including low dose chemotherapy combined with oxygen chambers, hyperthermic heat treatment and multiple infusions: B vitamins, D vitamins, Insulin, Iron and antioxidants which Dr Ro has begun receiving at a clinic in Turkey (you can see photographs of Dr Ro receiving these treatments in the video above).

More About Dr Ro’s Healing Journey so far:

In November 2022 Dr Ro stepped back from his speaking engagements and any work due to health concerns. In January, tests confirmed the diagnosis to be lower colon cancer. He applied everything he knew from a nutritional, mindset, physical, healing and holistic perspective whilst seeking out all the best nutritional, conventional and integrative medical advice possible.

Based on the position and nature of the cancer, surgical removal of the tumour was considered to be the best option for Dr Ro and surgery took place early March 2023. The operation took longer than planned due to a few complications and the initial tumour was successfully removed. Unfortunately, 4 days after the operation, whilst in hospital, Dr Ro developed sepsis which became life threatening and required emergency surgery. He was kept in critical care for a period, experienced significant weight loss and was eventually discharged from hospital after five weeks.

Although it has been a very difficult time for his partner and two daughters they have been a great support to him at home throughout the journey. Post operation, Dr Ro had to manage an ileostomy stoma and daily self-catheterising, this coupled with the impact of the surgery and sepsis meant that recovery was slow. He continued to focus on his nutritional, physical and healing journey and exploring the best medical, integrative and alternative healing methodologies available.

The follow-up pathology results and scans revealed that the cancer had spread to a lymph node and also to his liver. More options were explored however in a short space of time the tumour doubled in size and Dr Ro was unable to take certain medical paths. He then found a clinic in Turkey (ChemoThermia) which offered an integrative approach with very good success rates on cancer.

Following consultations with the specialist doctors in Turkey he booked and started the treatment as quickly as possible. During this process Dr Ro is having low dose chemotherapy combined with oxygen chambers, hyperthermic heat treatment to the body and liver, multiple infusions such as B, D vitamins, Insulin, Iron and antioxidants. To do this he has to travel out to Turkey for 4-5 days, then returns for 11 days to rest before going again for each round.

Dr Ro and his family are focused purely on healing and a successful result. Although he

not up speaking and working yet, when recovers, he is determined to share his learnings

and experiences with others who may be facing a similar journey.

Our £56,000 target is based on supporting Dr Ro fund 8 rounds of these integrative treatments.
