Dr. Stephen Castle Senior Scholarship Fund

The Dr. Stephen Castle Senior Scholarship is awarded to a senior student enrolled at Sandalwood High School. Dr. Castle made an impact on our school by focusing on details and ensuring high moral standards in and out of the classroom. The $500 scholarship will be awarded every year to support the student's post-secondary education. The student's name will be engraved on a plaque.

Dr. Castle believed strongly that students need to be at school every day and on time. Teachers will nominate students to receive the scholarship whom they believe fit the following criteria:

-GPA above a 3.5

-Limited tardies and absences across the board

-Dedicated and disciplined.

-Is at school on time and completes all tasks on time. No late work/always submits work on time and at a high level.

-Good attitude, bright, inquisitive, and well-meaning with all teachers, staff, and peers.

-Positive and friendly; the type of person that is honest, dedicated to learning, and does the right thing.

-No behavioral problems or questionable activity.

-Adheres to the law and set procedures and leads by example.
