Dr Sue Stoller - Overcoming Cancer
Donation protected
Dr. Sue Stoller has decided to seek treatment in Mexico in October for the Tonsillar cancer which she was diagnosed with in 2017 and has been treating holistically since that time.
So many people supported Sue in her first GoFundMe account and she is so grateful for that assistance. It allowed her to keep her office open but work fewer hours, support herself both professionally and personally, including paying for food, herbs, and homeopathics as her income was seriously affected by working fewer hours. She would not have been able to take care of herself, seek all the various treatments she needed and continue helping patients without that support.
Sue’s medical support includes both her Portland Naturopath at Providence and also at Chipsa Hospital in Mexico. The cost of this very intense 3-4 week treatment in Mexico is $34,000. Her insurance will not help with any of this expense. In addition to the treatment in Mexico she will have to pay for room/board for herself and her companion who will support Sue during treatment. Her goal of raising $47,000 will allow her to keep her business open, pay office and personal expenses while she is gone for the weeks of treatment and if necessary additional time for recovery and follow-up care once she is home.
“Grateful “ seems too small a word for the support from so many friends and patients during the last two years and it is certainly humbling to come back to people and again ask for more assistance, but it is important that she take every avenue available to raise the funds that are necessary for her treatment and recovery over the next two months.
She can accept cash, checks and credit card donations through the office; also a GoFundMe page has been opened (the link is below). Please know that GoFundMe keep 8% of any amount that is donated, so if you are moved to donate, she will receive all of your donation if it is made through the office.
Thank you for your consideration,
