It is very hard to put this together but I am trying my best. My father was an amazing person. He seemed to know everyone. His accomplishments were many in terms of degrees but his most profound impact was among the people he knew, loved, and taught as a professor. He never seemed to get tired of learning new things. He had a great love for his people and had a deep pride in his heritage.

In his later years, his health failed and my father seemed to disappear out of nowhere. No one knew what had happened to him, including me. It turned out that he was roaming about without a true sense of who he was and unsure of the people around him. I later found out that some people tried to help him but they did not understand what was happening. By the time my family and I found him, years later, we learned that he had been suffering from Alzheimer's, cancer, and other illnesses. His health was failing him and his ability to communicate deteriorated greatly within a short time span. My hope was that I would eventually be in a better position to care for him but sometimes God has other plans.

As a teacher, I do not have the means to be able to afford funeral costs. So, I am asking for your help to be able to bury him with some dignity. I am starting this fund to cover his funeral services and burial. We have only a few days to raise this money, less than a week. If we do not raise this money, he will be buried in a mass grave. We are trying to avoid this outcome and this fund is our last hope. My family and I appreciate all the help we can get with this and thank you to anyone who loved him enough to even read this, let alone donate.
