Dr. Wilson Young's Family

With great sadness, we have to share the passing of Dr. Wilson Young unexpectedly on the morning of November 16, 2022. Wilson was a devoted husband to his beloved wife Bonnie, father to four-year-old Theodore and one-and-a-half-year-old Emma. Less than three months ago, Wilson discovered he had stage-four intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (a rare bile duct cancer). Although he fought courageously and without complaint, he left this world far too soon. Dr. Young dedicated his life to the selfless service of others as a cardiac electrophysiologist whose impeccable medical care improved the lives of so many.

Wilson’s smile and laughter lit up a room, and his heart of gold shone brightly for everyone he met. He never gave a second thought to offering help to others. He will be missed dearly by many. We have started a fund to help out his beloved wife and the young children that he left behind with any medical, funeral, or other expenses that may arise. In addition, we would like to help alleviate some financial hardship for his wife, Bonnie Young, as she navigates this tragic time and forges ahead with their new reality.

In these times of loss and sadness, people come together to help one another make it through and support the people for which we care deeply. Any support you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Please keep Bonnie, Theo, and Emma in your thoughts and prayers. Wilson would have turned 50 years old on March 7th, 2023. A Celebration of Life will be announced on this date for friends and family to gather and remember Wilson and support his family. Annually, on Wilson’s birthday, a silent auction will be held (details forthcoming) to support Emma and Theo further as they grow and foster their father’s legacy.
