Help Build a Courtyard Cafeteria!
Welcome to my Eagle Scout project fundraiser! I am a member of Boy Scout Troop 383 in Bryan, Texas. I have been working since I was seven years old to achieve the Eagle Scout Rank, an official and lasting recognition of my devotion to scouting principles and a designation which will be a constant reminder of my duty to God, our community, our nation, and our world.
The last requirement to achieve the Eagle Scout rank is to develop and lead a service project which will benefit the community. As a member of this Catholic troop and a student at St. Joseph Catholic School, I feel strongly about giving back to the school and faith community which have helped me grow. So, my Eagle Project is to build a Courtyard Cafeteria where the school can locate the currently scattered picnic tables onto a strong, level, and aesthetically pleasing structure to be used for school lunches, club meeting space and youth group activities. The construction will involve excavating an area in the school courtyard, installing a retaining wall which will double as extra seating, and building a large wooden deck which will support the four picnic tables the school already purchased.
I ask for any financial donation you can make to help my project go forward. I recognize that there are many worthy causes from which to choose, and I hope that you will make this one of them. Our school community and I will be make good use of it. Thank you for visiting my fundraiser and for any financial support you can offer. -Benjamin Seago
