It’s come to my attention a few months ago that Biker was successful in obtaining a permit to operate a legal marijuana dispensary before he died. Through a little bit of digging I learned that his company was dissolved after his death and the signatures on the papers were not his according to a handwriting specialist. The permit was awarded to Biker’s business partner, Brad Harcourt (who dissolved the business) six months later. Brad then sold a portion of the company for $1.5 million and went into business with the people who are now operating the dispensary. The City of San Diego allowed the transfer of the permit without my knowledge or consent. It is armed with this information that I’ve visited the Development Services Department (DSD) to request the documentation of how the permit was transferred without my knowledge or consent. I have been given the run around to three different offices where the documents are stored, without being able to obtain anything. I visited Kevin Faulconer the Mayor of San Diego office, to ask for assistance with absolutely no response. I’ve followed up with emails, with no response. This is our government and they are legally obligated to respond yet they do not! They are engaged in the theft and deception that robbed us of Biker and all that he worked for on behalf of our family!
Those of you who knew Biker knew he was working on his dream for two years before his suicide. He felt like owning a skateboard company was just a stepping stone and learning experience before going big and owning a legal marijuana dispensary. When San Diego finally made ordinances, Biker was literally one of the first people to apply. Throughout the two years of intense hard work and dedication, our governing bodies continually changed the rules and moved the goal posts. It was incredibly frustrating, unfair and expensive. Biker jumped through every hoop and met every detail to be successful. He believed the system was rigged to favor some people, yet he kept trying. Biker was right, the marijuana dispensary permit system in San Diego is controlled by just a few people.
During Biker's fight to win a permit, he drained all our savings and our boys’ college accounts because he truly believed he would succeed and would repay them with his profits. Sadly, his frustration and feeling like he failed because of the constant changing of the rules and expenses brought him to his knees. Before his suicide be believed he’d failed to obtain his permit and that he’d failed his family as well, leaving us with no savings, no home and no Biker. It was so sad to see the most charismatic, brave and a person who loved life most of all, completely defeated. His tragic death rocked my world as well as our beautiful sons. We will never be the same without him and miss him with a gutting emptiness that will never be filled.
The corruption in our local government is now obvious to me. If they had the correct documents they would have produced them. I’m so angry these able bodied, savvy business people have stolen and covered up Biker’s hard work and achievements and took it for themselves while my boys and I grieve and just get by. I’ve decided to fight the thieves and our corrupt local government to honor Biker and to get what our sons rightfully deserve of their father’s legacy. Here is the federal complaint I filed.

I’m now anticipating Brad Harcourt and our government will make me spend a lot of money pursuing my case. If I cannot pay for lawyers and specialists to prove our case then they win and I will simply have to go away. So, I’m asking for your help to honor Biker’s legacy, dreams and achievements, help punish the individuals who stole our business as well as fight to expose the corruption and favoritism in our government. A Go Fund Me has already been attempted on my behalf, by the Banned Members of California-City and County Regulations watch, of which has been frozen without reason. Please consider how much courage this takes and how much we've already been through. Are you angry yet?
Since Biker passed I've had so many caring people say, "Whatever I can do to help, please ask." I'm asking all of you to help us now. THIS is what you can do to help us! Please donate, share, comment or send to contacts.
Thank you for your love and help continuing Biker's legacy.
Love, Amy
