Hi there,

We are friends and supporters of Tracy Downes and Kory Klassen. Their amazing and kind-hearted son Dray was diagnosed with "Posterior fossa ependymoma", which is a tumour in his brain, and this family needs our community support. ❤️ Dray has already had one surgery, but they could not get the tumour out due to it being on his brain stem, and the medical team is suggesting chemo, possibly another surgery, and radiation after that.

Dray has always been a kid with a big and generous personality. He loves hanging out with the adults and has a great sense of humour. Tracy was an avid member of the Windsor Jeep Club and helped raise over $63,000 for brain injury programs. Dray was always by her side, wanting to give back and help his community too. Even at such a young age, Dray has always helped others. He was very helpful in organizing cans for the local food drives and setting up event days for the Jeep Club. He even donated his own money!

Now Dray needs our help! He will need to spend months in Children's Hospital and likely will spend time in Toronto and the United States for treatments. Currently, he is in London following his first brain surgery with his parents.

We know that Dray will kick this tumours butt because that is the warrior that he is.

This fundraiser is being set up to raise funds for his parents. They will need to have funds for travel and day-to-day expenses in order to stay at Dray's bedside.

Friends and family are strongly encouraged to give what they can because we don't want Tracy and Kory worrying about paying bills when they need to ensure Dray gets the best care he can get.

A little bit about Dray for those who don't know him:

Dray is 11 years old and turning 12 this month.
Dray attends Hugh Beaton Public School in Windsor, ON
He has a fantastic big brother named Cole
Dray is an avid video gamer
He is a Toronto Maple Leaf fan (don't let that discourage you from contributing)
Dray is a fantastic singer and will challenge him to a singing competition when he gets home
Dray also loves fishing!

His mom Tracy is a friend you want, always helpful and supportive. Tracy is the mom that makes being a kid fun. From the unbelievable car wash, she made for Dray to showing the kids what being community minded is all about. There is no doubt that Tracy is a Superwoman kind of mom!

His Dad, Kory, has helped many people with Jeeps and is always willing to lend a hand to those in need. He has been seeing volunteering under the radar for years with charitable tasks.

The family has a long road ahead. We hope you will be there now and in the future to help this family know that they are not alone. Windsor and Essex County is going to be here to help. This family has supported others for so long; it's now time to help them. Please join the Dray Brigade!
