Dreambox Beauty needs your help

My name is Jennifer Taylor, small business owner of Dreambox Beauty, skin care products and tools. I started this journey in 2019 from nothing and have invested everything into my business as it is my passion and now that’s been taken away from me. I think at this stage, my ego is gone, and as hard as it is...I need your help.

This past Friday, 2/10 we had a theft and safety occurrence with our Public Storage facility located in Santa Ana, California. This is my story as all I have right now to fight this is my voice, Public Storage is not responding to any of my calls or the formal complaint I have filed with their corporate location on Saturday, 2/11.

When I arrived at the Public Storage facility that Friday only to find my unit broken into ransacked, destroyed and majority of its contents stolen! Not only my unit but multiple units that same morning same thing, the suspected thieves where there just only one hour before I arrived. I am thankful I did not arrive when they where there who knows what could have happened. I can imagine they had weapons or would have attacked me if I would have come up on them while they where removing the contents from my unit!!!! Note, there are NO cameras inside the facility only on the outside, endless opportunities for criminals.

While speaking to the two front office ladies working that morning reporting these findings to them as well as the Police Officer I called to file a report we had been told these suspected thieves are actual tenants at the facility which is how they have been gaining access to the property.

I also learned these suspected thieves not only hit this same location on Friday, 2/10 but also Friday, 2/3, Wednesday, 2/8 and Thursday, 2/9 that I have been made aware of by the two front office ladies. One of them told myself and another victim they have these suspected thieves on camera, photos of them, know who they are but this location has done nothing to prevent this from continuing to happen, obviously. No concern for public safety.

Public Storage DID NOT let their tenants know this was happening at this facility. They have no concern for public safety.

In an effort to get some answers I went on the Public Storage social media pages and placed comments about public safety and what they do to help their customers only to find myself BLOCKED ten minutes later.

Unfortunately, the thieves are now selling my items on OFFERUP. I have reported this information to the police as well as OFFERUP.

As a small business owner this is a very hard blow to take and quite a setback as it is not just losing inventory, it is all the hard work and commitment you have being a small business owner just as things where getting going for our brand!

Please give what you can so Dreambox can continue our journey to be a powerhouse of beauty and wellness in our community that we love so much.
