Dreams beyond borders: Save Yasser’s future.

Donation protected
Yasser is the sole breadwinner for his family of six. He and his family have been displaced from their house since October 7 which is more than 400 days. They have been displaced seven times since then.

Meet my dear friend Yasser Al-Ostath from the Gaza Strip, a beacon of hope for his family and community. Yasser is a 23-year-old ambitious young man, he is a mechatronics engineering student, writer, painter, Ou’d player, and content creator. He was born and raised in Gaza. He has endured more than 18 years of siege, poverty, unemployment, power cuts, water shortages, and violence.

Four years ago, his father passed away due to cancer, so he became responsible for his family of six, despite facing challenging life situations, Yasser never lost hope. He confronted life with unwavering strength and faith. He earned a mechatronics engineering diploma with honors, but he didn't stop here, he also enrolled in university to pursue his bachelor’s degree in the same field of study. In addition, his exceptional expertise in artificial intelligence and embedded systems secured him a position at an online company specializing in these domains.
Amidst his nonstop pursuit of dreams, the war erupted, leaving nothing untouched. And because he was living in northern Gaza, he was forced to flee from the first day of the war. He left his home on the 7th of October last year -more than 300 days ago- and was unable to return to it, and he will not be able to do so because his entire neighborhood has become ruins that cannot be lived in. Since then, he has been displaced with his family from one place to another. They faced famine in the north and were displaced to the south of the Gaza Strip on foot. They lived in a tent in Rafah in the cold winter, then they were displaced again to Khan Yunis. He lost everything: his home, his job, his savings, and all his property.

Yasser and his family, like countless other Gazan families, are suffering an unimaginable tragedy. Their lives have turned into an unbearable nightmare. Stripped of everything, each day begins with a desperate search for necessities: water and sustenance. Yet, these essentials remain elusive. Water is scarce, and the meager food and drink they find are unhealthy. Their makeshift bathrooms offer no respite from the harsh reality they face.

Gaza’s reality is harsh. The daily struggle for survival, the longing for safety, and the desire for a better future weigh heavily on Yasser and his family. But they refuse to be defined solely by their circumstances. They dream of education, pursuing careers, and contributing to a world beyond the blockade.
Together, we can bring Yasser and his family to safety and start a new life away from fear, danger, destruction, and war; because even when the war is over, the situation in Gaza will not return to what it was before the war, Gaza has become a destroyed place. Funds will be used to evacuate them from Gaza. Beyond evacuation, we want to empower them, funds will support covering basic expenses for at least three months, such as housing, food, drinks, etc. Also, education—especially for his little brother—medical care, as they all suffer from malnutrition, and any other emergency expenses.
We believe that borders should not confine dreams. Your contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference. Every dollar counts. Together, we can turn Yasser's dreams into reality and give him and his family the life they deserve. Be the hope for this wonderful family. The world needs someone as amazing as Yasser.
