I am reaching out to you on behalf of a dear friend, Angelina Kaufmann, who now bears a pain that no parent should ever have to endure. I am asking for donations in the face of an unimaginable tragedy that occurred on September 1st. Alina and Ernesto, two beautiful souls full of dreams and hopes, had their lives tragically cut short in a heart-wrenching accident.
Alina, a beautiful, fun-loving 24-year-old with a heart full of compassion, was pursuing her dream of becoming a nurse, a testament to her caring nature. On that Friday night, she had just picked up her beloved brother Ernesto, a 15-year-old with a passion for animals and an ambitious dream of saving to buy his first car after recently starting his first job at Kmart.
Just 200 meters from their family home, they were struck at high speeds by individuals driving recklessly and showing a complete disregard for human life. These heartless individuals left them to die on the roadside and gutlessly fled the scene in a getaway car.
Angelina is a single mother who has worked tirelessly to provide for her family. She now faces not only the unimaginable loss of her two beloved children but also the daunting financial responsibility of arranging a dignified farewell for them, ensuring they are remembered with the dignity and respect they were denied in their final moments.
The siblings also leave behind their loving sister, Ayeanna, who must now navigate the profound loss of her cherished brother and sister. No family should have to face such a devastating loss alone. Your kindness and empathy can make a world of difference in Angelina's and Ayeanna's lives as they embark on this heartbreaking journey of grief and healing together.
