CP Swagger DRE PTA Playground

It all started with a walk!

The “CP Swagger Shipyard” addresses the need for appropriate, adaptive playground equipment for
the students of Douglas Road as well as the entire Bedford community which includes southeast Michigan and northwest Ohio. We are committed to providing an opportunity to accommodate children with disabilities and support their right to play alongside their friends in fun inclusive play.

The “CP Swagger Shipyard” playground project is a joint initiative of Douglas Road Elementary School, the Douglas Road PTA, and the Gandee family. Our team includes parents, dedicated teachers, support staff, administrators, board members, engaged local businesses, and community members.
