Drew Family - Horrific Accident

On Monday, September 30th, Matt and his wife were involved in a devastating motorcycle accident while riding with friends and family. An SUV crossed the center line and collided with their motorcycle head-on. Though the SUV was traveling at around 50 km/h, it tragically rolled over both Matt and his wife, completely destroying their motorcycle and leaving them both with severe injuries.

Matt, a dedicated veteran, was airlifted to Ottawa's National Trauma Unit, where he remains in critical condition. While both sustained multiple fractures and injuries, Matt's condition is far more severe. He is battling a broken pelvis and multiple internal injuries, and each day is a struggle as his situation remains uncertain.

Adding to their challenges, Matt and his wife have four young children anxiously waiting for their parents to come home. The long and uncertain recovery process ahead has placed immense emotional and financial strain on the family. Matt’s motorcycle was completely destroyed, and the full extent of what insurance will cover remains unclear.
