Drew McClain

Andrew M.M. McClain, 26, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023, in a tragic accident while riding a scooter. He was born on November 5, 1996, in Chicago, Illinois, to Nadine (Jenkins) Bishop and Andre McClain, Sr.; both survive.

Andrew attended Emma Donnan Middle School and Arsenal Tech High School in Indianapolis. He loved working as a chef at Iozzo’s Garden of Italy and was truly respected and loved by his coworkers. He loved to sing, rap and play video games but the most important thing in the world to him were his children and family; he was known to be a momma’s boy. He will be missed by family and friends.

Survivors include his mother, Nadine Bishop; father, Andre McClain, Sr.; significant other, Jazmine Brasher; children, Andrew McClain, Jr. and Andre McClain; grandmothers, Gloria Jenkins and Pearl McClain Hollis; brothers, Anthony, Andre, Vernon, Javonte, Jaevondae and William; sisters, Gabrielle, Rachel, Andreana, Santana, Tya and Kiera; nieces and nephews, Anthony Jr., Keavion, Martavion, Damyra and Europe; god-children, Sta-cieona, Royal and Dallas; six aunties and eight uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, O’Neal Guyness, Jr., Samuel McClain, Jr. and Alex Hollis.
