Drew Thomason-Daniels

Greetings! My name is Michael Gailey, and I am friends with the family of Drew Thomason-Daniels. On October 7th, 2022, Allen Daniels (Drew’s father) had his world turned upside down. He received that dreaded phone call that all parents fear. His beautiful 25 year old daughter, Drew was shot by a man she loved, her husband and the father of her children. 

The nightmare didn’t end here. Drew’s mother was also shot and killed. He also took the life of another young man before taking his own life. As a result of the shooting, Drew is now paralyzed from the chest down. 

Drew was sedated for a time after being admitted, and a ventilator and feeding tube were helping to keep her alive. She suffered gunshot wounds to the head and back. She has endured multiple surgeries to remove bullet fragments. 

Drew is a true fighter and warrior, and has overcome several obstacles. On November 18th, 2022, Drew was able to return home. 

Drew is surrounded by the love of her family, her father Allen and two boys, Malachi (3 years old) and Micah (6 months). This family is in need of having a wheelchair van in order for 

Drew to do any traveling outside of her home. This van will help provide transport to and from the hospital, doctor, and physical therapy appointments. 

Drew will never be able to go anywhere with her family if they do not get a wheelchair van of their own. That would be an immense tragedy for Drew considering all that she has already been through and will continue to go through as she has a long road of recovery ahead of her. 

Although we all believe that Drew will regain movement and a miracle is awaiting her, that could take years to happen and the necessity for her to have a wheelchair van is needed now. Wheelchair vans are upwards of $100K plus. 

Drew has lost way too much, we cannot let her lose the ability to travel beyond her home. Before this incident occurred, Drew was employed by Fizz Facial Bar. She enjoyed making women and men feel refreshed.
