Drew's Battle Against Leukemia
Donation protected
Drew's battle with leukemia has take a turn. His leukemia, a very aggressive AML with a mutation that complicates his treatment, is not responsive to chemotherapy and he has failed 5 rounds of chemo - meaning he is no longer in remission. Drew's best chance is a new, special medication taken in conjunction with a form of specialized chemo as part of clinical trail at MD Anderson. However, his insurance, through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, is refusing the peer to peer review that could potentially authorize this treatment. As it stands, nothing Drew is currently receiving at MD Anderson is covered. Every transfusion, IV and Tylenol is completely on Drew and Noblet financially - and he cannot enter the clinical trial that will save his life without insurance approval.
While Noblet continues to advocate for Drew, please consider supporting them. Their MD Anderson bill is already astronomical, and will only continue to climb.
Thank you. Please share. And please do not hesitate to note how their healthcare coverage is refusing the treatment that will save Drew's life - and that without, could kill him.
