Vermont Dr. Horrible Production

Hello, I'm Sofie, I'm a high schooler at MMU in Vermont, and have been working in theatre for about five years now. Because opportunities to work on what you really want to do are scarce at a young age, I decided to make a small theatre troupe out of my friends to put on those shows that we'd love to do but would never perform in school or can't get to in other places. It's a really passionate group, and the only thing we have 100% in common is our love of theater in our own personal ways. We're now trying to fund our VERY FIRST show, which will be Joss Whedon's "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog", and will take place this summer (2015). We will be using the money to build our sets, props, and costumes, which, even though this is a small show, can be expensive to create. Also, because the show is currently unlicensable, but the creators have said that they essencially have no issue with it being performed, no one will be making any money from the production. Finally, all profits will be donated to the emergency shelters of Women Helping Battered Women, a Vermont-based organization fighting domestic abuse in all forms. This is going to be an amazing show and we are a really excited to do it. Please help my dream, and the dream of my peers, to become a reality.

DONOR PRIZES!!!!
Every donor will:
-Be invited to a day where they can come with their families, talk to the actors in costume, take pictures with them, and snack. This will be sometime mid-summer.
-Be let into the theater 10 minutes earlier to choose their seats
-Get a personalized thank you card from the whole cast when the show is over

Donors who give $75 or more:
-Everything above
-Will automatically be seated in front 2 rows (if they so wish)
-Can choose their favorite song from the show and we'll send you a recording of our actors singing it beautifully. (I will send out emails once rehearsals start).


When: August 14th and 15th. Curtain is at 7:30 both nights and there is a 2:00 matinée on the 15th.
