DRIVE-IT-ON 2023

Hi all, This year we are fundraising for Tarmon NS Castlerea/ St Attracta's NS Charlestown Autism Classes.

Tarmon NS, Castlerea opened its first Autism class in September 2014 and this was followed by St. Attracta’s NS, Charlestown who opened up its first Autism class in 2016. Both schools now have 5 Autism classes with children in attendance from four (Tarmon) / three (St. Attracta’s Ns) of the Connacht counties. While the Department of Education provides most of the funding for us to run these classes, there is always a shortfall when it comes to delivering a top quality service for the children and their families. Each individual child requires different resources, unfortunately this specialised equipment tends to come at a premium cost. All monies raised from this fundraising appeal will be spent on purchasing this equipment for the wonderful pupils in our Autism classes, so that they are given every possible opportunity to reach their full potential.
