Drunk driver hit and run-new small biz Burnsider Food Truck

Late at night a woman hit our food truck, The Burnsider Food Truck. She was under the influence, had kids in the car, and the car was stolen. They apprehended her, and the kids were sent to a shelter. Even with her sent to jail though this still sticks us with the bill. Not only is their body damage some of the grills inside were damaged, our propane tank and cage are ruined, and we need to have the propane lines and fire suppression system looked at to make sure everything is still safe. We are trying to work with insurance to see what they will cover. But we are still a very new business. This hits us so hard when we have put everything into getting this up and going. If you have ever liked our food, had Michael or Ashley help you with something, or just feel like helping out someone in the neighborhood trying to do a good thing, we would appreciate your support. All we have ever tried to do with this food truck is support the community with locally bought, healthy, affordable food. We desperately want to keep working at that dream.
