A House to Call Home

Hello Folks! Near and Far.

I write this Story with a heavy heart. December 23, 2021 my dear friends house burnt to the ground.
The fire started in the Chimney. With the high winds the fire was out of control in the blink of an eye. By the time the fire was noticed it was to late for her and her beautiful daughter to collect anything from their home.
Multiple Fire Stations arrive to try and save their home. When firemen arrived the house was engulfed in flames and they were not able to save their home.
Big Thank to the many fireman that not only worked tirelessly but for the kindness they showed them.
Marianne is a honest, very hard working single mom. She has endured, faced many challenges life has thrown at her. She’s accomplished working and going to school and raising her child at the same time to improve their lives.
Unfortunately due to the pandemic she lost her job. She lifted her head up and worked at any job she could get. Her last job was out scalloping in the Bay of Fundy. 
Her heart and soul belongs to her daughter. She once told me that all she wanted was to teach her daughter when life throws a curve ball, you take the hit, then lift your head up and move forward. 
She’s the kind of person that would take the shirt off her back if you said you were cold. 
She inspires me daily!
They literally have the clothes that they were wearing and that’s it. 
They lost everything, including their 2 cats.

I love to see enough raised that she could purchase a mini home/modular house to call there home.

Let’s come together as a community, show them how Nova Scotian’s take care of each other.
