LET'S FIND THE BASTARD: The Jeremiah Davis Story

Comedian and musician, Nick Woodruff, has grown up never knowing his father. At the age of 41 with two children of his own, he is finding this hole in his life harder to look past. Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, Nick sees this as the perfect time to get some answers. Teaming up with Sub Par Studios and Illinois based non-profit DNAngels, Nick and his crew set out to FIND THE BASTARD!


We are raising funds to help complete the filming of this documentary. 


HOW FUNDS WILL BE USED:
Right off the top, 10% of funds raised will be donated to DNAngels, a non-profit
which specializes in assisting people in finding their lost relatives. We feel it necessary to sing their praises at every possible opportunity and this is one of them. 

$3000 travel associated with completing the film

$2000 equipment upgrades

$1500  final editing and polishing of the film

$6000 regional premieres of the film

$1200 film festival submissions

$2000 advertisement/marketing

WHEN WE NEED FUNDS:
We are planning to complete filming by the end of April 2021. At that time, travel and equipment upgrades will need to be covered. 

Editing of the film will start in May 2021. The final edit and polish will come due over summer 2021. 

Possibly as early as Fall 2021 regional premieres can be taking place as well as advertisement. 

We will be holding off submitting to film festivals until 2022.
