Please help give my mom a fighting chance!

My mom lived a life of adventure and our entry home was a testament to her. We raced at high speed in a Mexican ambulance blaring Paul Simon’s Graceland album to keep her calm. We then cleared immigration and boarded a small plane with two pilots, a flight doctor and a flight medic. Judy (my mom) survived the entire flight without any major complications and was then raced to Baylor Scott White in Dallas. Upon entry into the hospital, she was intubated and transferred to the ICU. Unfortunately, her organs have started to give out and while dialysis has showed some gains, heaven may gain a new angel in the coming hours or days.

Thank you for everyone who helped bring her home to either recover if given the chance to or to pass away peacefully, next to me…in the comfort of family and back home.

All donations made will be paid to her flight bill (final total $26,000) and anything remaining will go towards her funeral.

My name is Cash, and I’m reaching out with a heartfelt request for assistance. My mother, who is currently in the ICU in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, has fallen gravely ill. She is battling a severe liver infection, a bladder infection, and pneumonia. Additionally, initial scans suggest the presence of liver cancer.

The situation is dire, and she needs advanced medical treatment that is unfortunately not available here. To provide her with the care she urgently needs, we must arrange an air ambulance to transport her from San Miguel to Dallas, Texas. This critical transfer will cost approximately $50,000. On top of that, her daily medical expenses are estimated at $2,000, and we are uncertain how much her insurance will cover.

I flew down here at the last moment to be by her side, but the financial and emotional burden is overwhelming. My mother came to San Miguel in hopes of finding peace after my father’s recent passing from end-stage liver failure in July 2023. Now, I’m faced with the devastating possibility of losing both of my parents in such a short span of time.
