Help Scott Beat Cancer

Scott was diagnosed 3years ago with Stage IV colon cancer. His prognosis was not great but he has shown his strength and resilience having gone through multiple major surgeries from his bowel, liver and last year was a double lung thoracotomy.

Scott and Chloe (married almost 9yrs) have three beautiful children. Zara aged 7, Holly aged 3 and Corey is 10 months.

Throughout his whole cancer journey his mental strength has astounded us. Chemo fortnightly knocks him around but he’s still out there working a manual job and likes to keep physically fit.

Now the reason we have set this page up….

Oncology in Australia while it has been good. It is very much a one shoe fits all. Scott is finally clear of cancer in his bowel and liver but there are still tumours in his lungs which are proving hard to eliminate.

Through our own research we have found dendritic cell therapy (based in Germany) which is put simply where they take his blood and superimpose his immune system to find and kill tumour cells - sounds fantastic right??

Downside is the cost so we are asking if you could spare a few dollars to help us get to Germany to receive this life altering treatment which has the potential to get him over the line and put in into NED ‘no evidence of disease’ which we so desperately want so he can see his children grow up and get married

Our aim is to get treatment in Early June unless his next scan are good enough for another lung surgery and then we will go once he is well enough to fly.
