Dubai, London, and Oxford: Tytianah's 2025 Academic Journey

Hi, my name is Tytianah McKinley, and I’m a first-generation Black student at the University of Texas at Austin pursuing a pre-law track. This spring, I’ve been given the incredible opportunity to participate in a Dubai 9-day program, a Maymester social work study program in London, followed by an intensive learning summer program at Oxford University.

These programs are a dream come true for me, blending my passion for global education, architecture, and international law. Having interned at an NYC law firm and connected with legal professionals in London, I know how transformative these experiences can be. As someone who grew up inspired by British films and culture, I am excited to immerse myself in these vibrant academic and cultural environments.

However, as a first-generation student, I need support to make this opportunity a reality. Your contribution will help cover travel, tuition, and living expenses, allowing me to take a major step toward my goal of earning an MBA and law degree with a global focus.
