Duchess needs TPLO surgery

Duchess is my almost two year old Great Dane/English Mastiff mix. She's a very sweet girl, and all she really wants in life is to run through the tall grass, wrestle with other dogs, and be a 125 pound lap dog. She's the gentlest soul I know, which is surprising given her story. She was adopted and returned to the humane society four times before I found her, where she was about 20 pounds underweight. Through various owners she had been neglected in various ways, whether it was from lack of food or lack of attention. One family she went to had her chained up in the back yard 24/7, without any human or dog contact. Despite this, she's still the sweetest and most loving dog I know, and she's my best friend.
Recently, she completely tore her ACL. We spent nearly $1000 on diagnosis, medications, and x-rays for hip displaysia, and while we thought we were on the right track, it turn out that isn't her problem at all. While she does have displaysia, it's nowhere near bad enough to be giving her the inability to walk. It will just be a bit stiff an creaky when she's in her golden years. So we spent the last two months trying to make her better operating on a misdiagnosis.
She does have a completely torn ACL in her right leg, and the cost of surgery for this is about $6000 for a dog of her size. It couldn't have come at a worse time for us, as we've just spent nearly all of the money we had on a wedding and honeymoon (coming up in 4 days). All we want is to get Duchess on the road to recovery as quickly as possible, and at this point, anything helps. With the surgery, she will make a full recovery and be back to being our local dog park's heavyweight wrestling champion.
Any funds raised here will go directly to Duchess' surgery to get her knee fixed. She's scheduled for November 2nd, two days after we return from our honeymoon. If by some miracle there are more funds raised than are necessary for her care, then 100% of the surplus will go to a donation to the Seattle Humane Society. That's where we adopted Duchess (and our two cats) from. I want to make the other animals who have the poor experience she had as comfortable as possible while they're there.
